How do I point my domain to my hosting account?

When you have a website, there are 2 essential components. Hosting for your website, and a domain name. Hosting is essentially where you rent space on a server to house your website. But you also have to register a domain name for your website, and then point it to your hosting account. If you don't have a domain name already, you can register for one here.  Once you have a domain name, the best way to point it to your hosting is to edit your A records for "WWW" and "@" to point to your hosting account's IP address. This is done in your domain registrar's DNS settings area. Alternatively you can also point your nameservers to your hosting provider, but unless you know what you are doing it's probably best to not use that method. Below is a screenshot showing where you can get the IP address for your hosting account after logging into your billing & support area with Divi Friends.
